Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join an established and reputable manufacturing business in Enfield. The business manufactures into the Defence, Aerospace, and Automotive sectors.

Job Responsibilities

Ensure all inspection procedures and all moulded products conform to customer specifications. Ensure that quality requirements are met at each stage of the production process from APQP to Final Approval. Generate PPAP reports to Levels 1, 2, and 3, Cap studies, and ISIR's. Develop various test methods in accordance with customer requirements. Set out training programs, train, and develop all Quality personnel under your control. Interface with all component suppliers to ensure that all components conform to control plans laid down by PEP. APQP Planning on all new products introduced to the company. Interface with Customers Program Managers on all aspects of PPAP submissions. Carry out Internal Audits to set schedules in accordance with TS16949. Ensure that all personnel are fully informed on SPC requirements and control plans for new product launches. Liaise with Customers on all quality concerns raised and deal with all returns and complaints using the approved 8-D approach for all customers.

Key Skills, Experience & Knowledge

A background in Quality Management. Understanding of IATF16949 or ISO9001 Standard and the ability to operate, maintain, and review the quality system to the required standard. Solid attention to detail, with an analytical approach to work. Ability to manage a small team, including training and ongoing development. Solid communicator, with the ability to interact with all staff, customers, and suppliers.

Benefits, Pay and Working Hours

A basic salary of up to £60,000 per annum. 20 days holiday plus bank holiday, rising with each year of service. Solid pension scheme. Company bonus scheme - usually around 5%. Working hours: 8.30 to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Great company culture, with a focus on continual development.
