QUALITY MANAGER - CARDIFF
PERM/FULL TIME
Manpower are recruiting for a Quality Manager for our client's manufacturing facility in Wales.
This expanding site hosts a well-established team on the outskirts of Cardiff, a continually growing business, working in a fast-paced role. The ideal candidate would have time served or extensive knowledge to offer our client.
Role
Establish and implement quality control procedures for precast concrete products. Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished precast elements to ensure they meet the required specifications. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary. Investigate customer complaints and quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Analyse quality data and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency. Ensure that all processes and products comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines (e.g., ISO, ASTM). Ensure all testing and inspection equipment is properly maintained and calibrated. Ensure that all quality control processes adhere to health and safety protocols to protect workers.
Criteria
Good construction manufacturing and working with concrete products or steel knowledge. Good organisational and communication skills. Good technical ability, enthusiastic and driven.
