We are recruiting for a Quality Manager to join a leading packaging company, where you will take the reins of Quality leadership and drive world-class standards across the organisation. About the Role Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will be at the heart of ensuring compliance, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction. This role is key to maintaining the company’s status as a risk-free supplier of high-quality packaging products. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a 3–5-year strategy for Quality improvement. Oversee compliance with ISO and BRC standards, leading audits and maintaining accreditations. Manage the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring alignment with regulatory laws and customer specifications. Work closely with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement effective solutions. Lead, inspire, and develop the Quality Control team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Drive Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and employee engagement in quality initiatives. Oversee quality-related budgets and achieve key performance targets. Function as a key member of the site leadership team, representing quality standards internally and externally. What We are Looking For: We are seeking a credible and initiative-taking Quality professional with the following: Proven experience in a senior Quality or Technical Manager role within the FMCG sector. Strong leadership and management skills, with a track record of driving quality improvements. In-depth knowledge of BRC/ISO standards, GMP, and regulatory compliance. HACCP Level 4 qualification (Internal Audit training desirable). Proficiency with quality and data systems such as SAP, Q-pulse, and SharePoint. Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of building strong relationships across teams and with customers. Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities You will uphold high standards in health, safety, and environmental compliance, contributing to the organisation’s efforts to promote safe and sustainable practices.
