Protea Recruitment is partnering with a leading Food Manufacturer to recruit a skilled and experienced Quality Manager.
Minimum Requirements:
Extensive Quality Management experience within the Food Manufacturing industry.
Proven track record of working with companies that supply major retailers.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
The Role:
As Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety across the business. Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing all quality and food safety processes to ensure compliance with internal procedures, customer expectations, and legislative requirements.
Leading the development and implementation of QMS to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Managing and delivering training programmes to ensure all staff are competent and up-to-date on quality processes and standards.
Collaborating with internal teams to identify and implement solutions that enhance product quality and operational performance.
Maintaining and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor system effectiveness and highlight areas for improvement.
Preparing for and participating in external audits conducted by regulatory authorities and third-party auditors.
