Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a growing SME in the recruitment of a Quality Manager, to support a small team in the delivery of automotive and industrial products offering excellent career potential allied with a competitive salary and benefits package. As a Quality Manager, you will lead on decision-making for customer-affected quality issues. You will develop a cross-functional teamwork approach involving all departmental disciplines to ensure both product and process quality is achieved and maintained. The Quality Manager position is critical to the business and as such you will be expect to: •

Maintain all QMS (VDA, IATF, ISO) systems to ensure quality standards are upheld and delivered across every facet of the business •

Liaise with Customers and Suppliers with all aspects of product and process quality to ensure the successful delivery of product for new vehicle programs •

Monitor and analyse performance and implement continuous improvements where necessary to reduce waste and improve performance •

Maximise efficiency of operations via good management, a flexible manning approach to standardised work, practical problem solving and continuous improvement •

Devise and maintain a continuous training and development plan. To apply for this Quality Manager role, you will need demonstrable experience managing quality functions within an automotive or high volume manufacturing industry and ideally posses a formal qualification. You will also require the following: •

IATF16949 / ISO 14001 / VDA 6 experience •

Man management skills (including disciplinary, performance monitoring, man-power planning and recruitment) •

Knowledge of the automotive industry, with manufacturing and production experience (in-depth experience of production planning and lean manufacturing) •

Customer liaison experience.
