Our client is an established, multisite food manufacturing business producing a wide range of chilled products. Supplying into most major UK retailers, as well as hotels, restaurants, and independent retailers, they are a key player in the industry with ambitions to raise standards across the board.
The Role This is a critical role in the technical team and would be an ideal opportunity for a Quality Manager who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys problem solving and leading improvements.
Reporting to the Site Technical Manager, you'll lead the quality team and work closely with colleagues across the site to tackle challenges head-on and build a stronger, more food safety-focused culture.
You'll be responsible for ensuring the site is audit-ready and compliant with BRC, retailer, and legal standards while helping to develop and embed improved ways of working. This is a role where you can make a real difference and be part of a supportive team.
What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck in. This role will suit an experienced Quality Manager or somebody with a technical/quality background looking for progression.
Experience leading a quality team within food manufacturing. A practical and proactive approach to identifying and solving problems. Strong knowledge of BRC and retailer codes of practice. Resilience, determination, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
