Carmichael UK are seeking a Quality Manager to work on site on a permanent basis for Sizewell C earthworks in Suffolk.
About the position:
Maintenance and action of audits and inspections schedule.
Maintenance of ISO9001 and similar accreditations including facilitating and responding/actioning the findings of third-party auditors.
Management of all document control within the project.
Development and reporting of key metrics to show performance against business systems targets.
Documentation of key processes and procedures.
Ownership of the project Non-conformance register.
Ownership of the audits and inspection schedule.
Maintenance of Master ITPs/ITCs.
Working with Technical Director for revision/improvement:
Training of use for Engineers, etc.
Assisting Engineers in particularisation of Master ITPs/ITCs.
Audits and inspections ensuring compliance with ITPs/ITCs.
Reporting key metrics including:
a. 100% of works fully signed off within 2 weeks of completion on site.
b. Aim for at least 2/3 of all fill placed in a month to be signed off by month end.
Owner of all NCRs including co-ordination of investigations and implementation of CARs.
Assist Technical Director with subject matter training for Engineers.
Owner of the QA systems including development on Project Lot Register and the ultimate co-ordinator of handover.
About You:
Qualification in Quality Management, or previous experience.
Proven experience managing the quality system on NEC contracts.
Experience in earthworks or another specialist civils contracting with similar processes.

Must be happy working on site at Sizewell C.
