Due to an upcoming project, we have had a fantastic opportunity arise for a Quality Manager to join the team at G3 Systems. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively lead all aspects of Quality operations as directed by the Programme Manager. Responsibilities Support the Mobilisation of the Project. Produce and Maintain the Quality Management Plan which shall be compliant with AQAP 2105 in line with the mobilisation plan. Carry out Supplier Approval Audits in line with the mobilisation plan. Service Delivery: Drive Quality performance through compliance with G3 Systems Interactive Management System (IMS). Work with other agencies and the customers quality representative on quality issues. Manage and conduct a risk-based internal and supplier quality audit programme that is developed and maintained with corrective actions managed to completion, ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual and legislative requirements. Carry out Factory Acceptance (FA), Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and document and maintain acceptance inspection records. Conduct Investigation of Product / service non-conforming products or services, providing detailed reports, evidence of findings and maintaining records. Maintain effective communication and relationships with suppliers. Produce monthly analysis and reporting on supply chain quality for receipt inspection, rejects, non-conformance and overall performance in conjunction with the supply chain manager. Ensure weekly and monthly management reporting material is provided and maintained. International Travel The role will require significant UK and overseas travel, mostly in Europe, to complete supplier inspections and audits and carry out equipment acceptance inspections. To this end the candidate must be willing and able to travel, both in the UK and overseas. Qualifications/knowledge Required: HND or Equivalent in an Engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical. At least 5 years quality experience in an engineering / manufacturing / logistic support environment. At least 3 years supplier quality management experience. Lead Auditor – ISO9001:2015 Working with Military Organisations and associated procurement establishments. Working knowledge and use of AQAP, Mil Stan, Def Stan, European, British and ISO standards. Familiarisation with and knowledge of AQAP 2105, 2110 & 2120. ISO 9001:2015 Management Systems. Quality Assurance. Quality Control. Security Cleared or be able to achieve security clearance.
