Quality Manager Leicester, LE7 £40,000 – £45,000 Per Annum We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager to join a world leading manufacturer of precision engineered components. This is an opportunity to work for one of the largest engineering groups in the UK specialising in machining and assembling solutions for the automotive industry. We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager who will provide integral support to the manufacturing process in ensuring quality from start to finish. You will be responsible for supporting the team in ensuring lean manufacturing including team training and development. You will be responsible for the auditing processes and overseeing all product development procedures. You must have experience of the following: Quality Management Systems conformance to ISO9001/AS9100/IATF16949/ISO13485 IAFT16949/ISO9001/AS9100 Lead Auditing APQP PPAP FMEA Gap analysis Data analysis Employee training and development Hours are worked between Monday and Thursday between the hours of 6am and 9pm. Fridays off! Required Professional Skills: Strategic planning and direction Multi-site quality management Quality Control Lean manufacturing Continuous Improvement Auditing (Internal, External, Supplier) New Product Introduction Product development Health and Safety Budget forecasting Employee training and development Supplier Development Employee supervision Establishing and maintaining effective quality systems Supplier quality management assessment and improvement First, second party and third-party audits Provide leadership and development to the quality and operations team Improvement of quality tools including but not limited to APQP, PPAP, FMEA Oversee all product development procedures Create and submit detailed reports and perform data analysis Set compliance objectives and ensure targets are achieved and exceeded Internal process improvement projects System Gap Analysis Creation of process and management system documentation Designed and implemented training to further develop staff based on business goals Planning and carrying out internal and supplier audits Benefits: Permanent position Progression opportunities Generous Pension Apply now or call (phone number removed) for further information.
