Are you an experienced Quality Manager with a passion for driving continuous improvement, maintaining excellence in quality standards and leading teams to achieve operational success? Our client is a global leader in engineering repairs and is seeking a dedicated Quality Manager to lead the site-wide quality process at our Wellingborough site.

About the Role:

As the Quality Manager, you will oversee all aspects of quality management at our Wellingborough site, ensuring safe, efficient and practical processes that meet our client's global standards. Collaborating with the leadership and quality teams, you'll implement robust quality controls, lead audit programs and drive operational excellence in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage internal and supplier audits, support external audits and oversee corrective/preventive actions based on findings. Lead and support the Quality team, focusing on development, risk assessment and succession planning. Establish and implement customer-specific quality requirements and ensure operational SOPs remain up to date. Drive compliance with ISO 9001/14001 standards, promoting best practices and securing certifications. Define and manage the annual audit schedule, ensuring adherence to customer and legislative specifications. Conduct root cause and corrective action (RCCA) analysis to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ). Serve as the technical lead for New Product Introductions and interface with customers to define and deliver sustainable solutions.

About You:

You are an accomplished Quality Manager with a track record of leading quality-focused teams, achieving ISO accreditation and driving process improvement initiatives. Skilled in quality methods such as FMEA, 8D and 5-Why analysis, you bring a hands-on approach and thrive in dynamic environments.

Qualifications and Skills:

Degree-qualified with 5+ years of experience in a quality management role. Strong knowledge of quality methods and continuous improvement processes. Experience leading internal quality audits and achieving ISO certifications. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Proficiency in tools like Fishbone and Pareto Analysis. Flexible and results-driven with a focus on team leadership and development.
