Quality Manager

to join their team in Dorset to deliver and maintain the Quality Management Plan, ensuring compliance to AQAP 2105 and undertake Supplier Approval Audits.

Quality Manager

The Quality Manager will lead all aspects of Quality operations, driving Quality performance through compliance with management systems and work with stakeholders on quality issues. You will manage and perform internal and supplier quality audit programmes, including managing corrective actions to completion, ensuring compliance with company policy, contractual and legislative requirements. You will also undertake Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and conduct non-conformance investigations, providing detailed reports, evidence of findings etc. You will also produce and maintain regular monthly analysis and reporting on supply chain quality.

The role will require significant UK and overseas travel (predominantly Europe) for supplier inspections and audits and equipment acceptance inspections.

To be considered for this role, applicants will need to be qualified to HND level or equivalent in an Engineering discipline, ideally Mechanical. You will have significant quality experience in an engineering/manufacturing/logistic support environment, including strong supplier quality management experience. You will be an ISO9001:2015 Lead auditor, with experience of working with Military Organisations with working knowledge and use of standards such as AQAP, Mil Stan, Def Stan, European, British and ISO.
