The Company
Our client is a specialist manufacturing company. For maternity cover, they are recruiting for a Quality Officer.
The Role
Will be site based.
You will perform QA activities supporting the overall quality management system, in accordance with ISO 9001/GMP guidelines.
Maintain, monitor and review all QA activities in the site quality management system, driving quality compliance actions to completion.
Batch document review and approval of final product to end markets.
Provide QA approval on change controls, deviations, OOS, complaints.
Provide support for internal and external audits.
Generate quality technical agreements, using effective communication with end customers and distributors.
Take part in customer meetings where applicable.
Coordinate with the wider organisation on customer complaints, deviations and QMS related activities.
Perform review and approval of validation protocol and reports.
Act as delegate for Quality manager in all QA aspects, where required.
The Person
Will have experience in a similar role within manufacturing.
You must have a keen interest in science.
ISO 9001/GMP guidelines experience is essential.
Good communication and organisation skills.
Computer literate with good Word and Excel skills.
Ability to solve problems and prioritise workload.
Good attention to detail.
Will be willing to work on a FTC.
