Due to an internal promotion, Byotrol are delighted to be recruiting for a Quality Specialist at our Thornton Science Park site. As a Quality Specialist you will focus on implementing the QMS effectively, striving for continual improvement, co-ordinating and leading projects and deputising for the Quality Manager when required. The position of the Quality Specialist sits within the Quality (Operations) team and reports into the Quality Manager.


Responsibilities

Project Co-Ordination

- Generate project plans

- Co-ordinate projects, managing risks and issues

- Completion of project documentation

- Generate validation plans and populate validation reports


Quality Systems Management

- Non-Conformances

- Corrective and Preventative Actions

- Change Management

- Internal Audits

- Training Management


Document Control

- Review and approve policies and procedures

- Generate/update Quality procedures

- Issue documentation into the QMS


Product Control

- Review and approve product specifications

- Batch review and release


Essential Experience

  • Quality experience in regulated industries (Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Chemical, Cosmetics, Food)
  • Experience of implementing Quality Management Systems
  • Batch review and release experience
  • Experienced in performing audits
  • Experienced in leading and co-ordinating projects


Beneficial Experience

  • Experience in the Biocides industry
  • Experience working to ISO9001:2015 standards
  • Project Management qualification
  • Lead Auditor qualification
  • Laboratory experience – microbiology/chemistry/virology
  • Working with 3rd Parties/outsourced manufacturers
