We are looking for a

Quality Specialist

to join us in our

UK & Ireland Quality

team, based in our Slough, UK offices on an initial 12-month contract. About the role The purpose of this role is to support compliance with UCB Global and Local Procedures/Policies and with local regulations by applying the processes defined in UCB’s Quality Management System. Who you’ll work with You will report into the Quality Lead for the UK & Ireland. What you’ll do Support the execution and maintenance of UCB Quality Management System within the organization ensuring records (e.g. Deviations, Change Controls, Complaints etc.) are raised & processed in the relevant electronic system. Report any identified gaps and propose potential Corrective and Preventative Actions. Ensure that identified and agreed Corrective and Preventative Actions are raised, tracked and closed within target timelines. Track and trend quality system data and key performance indicators. Prepare, review and approve batch documentation to ensure timely QA disposition of medicinal product on the market. Generation of Annual Product Quality Reviews according to UCB procedures and schedule. Co-ordination of the UCB stability program for local products. Support the affiliate annual self-inspection program. Contribute to the periodic Management Review of quality systems and procedures. Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills: Required bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (e.g. Biology, Chemistry and Pharmacy). 1-2 years’ experience working in a relevant pharmaceutical quality function would be an advantage. Strong organizational skills including ability to follow assignments through to completion. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work accurately, diligently and has good attention to details. Strong IT competency in using Microsoft Office software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook etc. Are you ready to ‘go beyond’ to create value and make your mark for patients?
