Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes within our organisation, ensuring that products meet the required standards of quality and safety. This role is crucial in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and implementing best practices in quality management. Key Responsibilities / Duties / Accountabilities To ensure you understand and comply with all Company policies and procedures in relation to health, safety and hygiene at work. Comply with the BRCGS & any other quality related standards the business employs. Carry out internal audits as required. Read and interpret product specifications. Perform quality checks and compliance checks. Perform product measurement checks using the designated testing equipment to verify data. Organise testing equipment calibration or verification where required (e.g., scales, laboratory testing equipment). Investigate out of specification results and take appropriate action. Assist with held stock, check backs, setting up and managing rework and stock disposition. Carry out basic quality training and assessment. Manage trials, colour standards and maintain the part catalogue. Develop and train operating procedures. Manage customer enquiries, complaints and returns. Assist with the completion of customer questionnaires & legislation compliance. Follow all company policies and procedures, reporting any issues to the duty Shift Manager or Group Quality and Sustainability Manager. Experience Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role, preferably within an injection moulding manufacturing or food production/packaging environment. Strong knowledge of HACCP principles and their application in quality management. Demonstrated ability to analyse complex data sets and derive actionable insights. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information across all levels of the organisation. A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
