Quality Systems Co-ordinator Reports to:

Multi-Site Quality Manager - Scotland Job Purpose: Working within a fast-paced environment, the job holder will work with the Quality Manager in running the day-to-day tasks within the quality function. The job holder ensures that all products conform to agreed functionality and quality standards whilst meeting the requirements of the accredited management systems (e.g. ISO9001, BRC-GS). Role Responsibilities: Creating and updating various reports - daily/weekly/monthly Providing data to the Quality Manager/Site leader Responding to customer and supplier day-to-day queries Supporting customer audits as requested Document control management via Q-Pulse Working with the Management and Customer Services team Progress chasing - CAPA’s, OFI’s Investigation of customer queries and non-conformances Making decisions on quality with support from the Quality Manager Ensuring audit actions are completed and uploaded to Q-Pulse Actively supporting the site’s Continuous Improvement activities Managing the Internal-Notification system, escalating any overdue actions to the management team Supporting the management of the Internal Calibration system with the QA Engineer Supporting the Quality Engineer with Internal and External auditing Supporting general EHS administration activities when required Quality System: All functions to be carried out in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and BRC-GS quality management standard requirements with reference to the site’s Quality Policy, Policy Manual & relevant Works Instructions. Working with the Quality Manager and Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure that all aspects of the accredited standards are integrated into the Quality system. Knowledge, Skills, Experience: Computer literacy (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Knowledge of data and statistical analysis techniques Keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills Quality conscious Communication skills - ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders from shop floor to site leader, and directly with external customers
