Quality & Technical Engineer
to join an established business based in the Dudley area. The Quality & Technical Engineer will work to deliver outstanding quality and technical excellence, problem solving, driving improvements, and optimizing customer satisfaction while working as part of a busy department.
As the Quality & Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for: Auditing deliveries, ensuring that they are fit for purpose and maintaining records. Managing any customer concerns. Root cause analysis and 8D activity for all returned parts/batches. Working closely with the design team on new products and improvements, carrying out reviews before release. Auditing all business unit processes (warehouse, sales order, design) for compliance and reporting. Implementing audit systems and working with other quality engineers to ensure a smooth process. Creating records for suppliers and warehouse. Carrying out random audits to check paperwork, quantity, labels, issues. Managing the NPI process, ensuring documents are filed and parts approved.
Requirements: Able to identify and resolve technical and any quality-related issues. Strong auditing skills. Experienced in root cause analysis, process audits, and continuous improvement. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
