Purpose Statement: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Quality Technician to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Livingston, UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute significantly to the growth and success of our new facility while developing your career within a global leader in electronics manufacturing. The Quality Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that all products and services meet the highest quality standards by actively participating in all phases of the manufacturing and inspection process. This position is responsible for identifying and implementing continuous improvement activities to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction. Key Job Accountabilities: Quality Assurance:

Support all aspects of quality assurance activities, including incoming goods inspection, in-process inspections, and final product inspections. Non-Conformance Management:

Support the investigation and resolution of non-conforming materials and customer returns. Continuous Improvement:

Actively participate in and lead improvement initiatives, such as 6S, to enhance work productivity, efficiency, and the overall work environment. Data Analysis & Reporting:

Compile and analyze quality data to identify trends, identify areas for improvement, and support the implementation of quality plans. Team Leadership:

Provide guidance and direction to Quality Inspectors. Education/Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent GED. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a quality-related role. Intermediate computer skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and learn new skills quickly. Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality principles. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry moderate weights. Ability to use hand tools and operate equipment as required. May require working in a manufacturing environment with varying noise levels. Why you will love it?
