As a Quality Technician at ETRUX, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our vehicle hire, lease, purchase, and conversion processes. You will work closely with the Quality Manager to implement quality control measures, conduct inspections, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Conduct inspections and testing of commercial vehicles to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications. Monitor and audit production processes to identify and address quality issues. Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality assurance activities. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards. Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address quality concerns. Support the transition of fleets from diesel to zero carbon by ensuring quality standards are met during conversions. Conduct training for staff on quality standards and procedures. Assist in internal and external audits as required. Ensure all tools and equipment are properly calibrated and maintained. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: Foundation diploma or equivalent or Qualified by experience (min 3 years); additional technical education or certifications in quality assurance or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as a Quality Technician or in a similar quality assurance role, preferably in the automotive or commercial vehicle industry. Strong knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards for commercial vehicles. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and software. Commitment to continuous improvement and quality excellence. This position requires regular interaction with production areas, which may involve exposure to noise, dust, and other elements associated with a manufacturing environment. Must be able to lift and move materials and equipment as needed. Job Type:
