Quality Technician Location: Newport Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm (with a half-hour unpaid lunch), and Friday, 7:30 am to 12:30 pm (39 hours per week) Salary: £29,000 - £30,000 per annum

Are you passionate about quality and precision? Join our team as a Quality Technician in Newport, where you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality for products leaving our factory.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the quality of finished products in compliance with job instructions, standards, and specifications. Conduct tests on specimens in accordance with customer specifications and international standards, maintaining and monitoring the results database. Compile and publish laboratory reports on test results as requested. Participate in RCA initiatives to reduce non-conformance trends and improve quality. Analyse laboratory data to identify trends and take preventive actions to avoid non-conformities. Perform final release documentation checks, sign Certificates of Conformance, and maintain familiarity with AS9100 and NADCAP process requirements. Conduct internal audits to support the site's quality management system. Assist in maintaining processes such as calibration, document control, and training, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Key Skills and Requirements

Familiarity with quality standards and processes, including AS9100 and NADCAP requirements. Strong problem-solving skills and a 'right first time' mindset. Familiarity with laboratory procedures and methods. Proficiency in inspection techniques. Ability to read and follow drawings and specifications. High level of attention to detail.
