Quality Technician . This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to play a key role in ensuring high standards of quality are maintained throughout the production process. Role Overview: As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting products throughout the production cycle, ensuring they meet the specified requirements agreed upon by customers and suppliers. You will support the Quality Manager in driving continuous improvement in the business by enhancing productivity across both people and processes. Your work will be critical in ensuring customer satisfaction, repeat business, and upholding the company's strong reputation. Key Responsibilities: Perform final inspections on all products before dispatch, following procedures and specifications. Ensure that all products meet both company and customer standards, documenting findings. Capture detailed images of finished products for future reference. Conduct testing when needed and report product failures from goods receiving through final inspection, raising Quality Concerns. Investigate QC issues and ensure timely resolution according to processes. Support the Quality Manager in Major Quality Investigations (MQI). Host final inspections with customer inspectors and ensure supplier root cause analysis is conducted. Assist in complaint investigations and ensure findings are communicated effectively. Follow and document processes in line with the Inspection & Test Procedure. Complete and store all documentation accurately, both electronically and in hard copy. Train staff on Product Information Sheets, Quality Sheets, and SOPs. Assist in creating and maintaining Quality Plans with the Quality Manager. Support quality-related client projects, collaborating with other departments as needed. Skills and Requirements Solid understanding of manufacturing and production procedures. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Familiarity with ISO 9000 standards. Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma / 5S / Kaizen principles. Experience working within a production line, manufacturing, or engineering environment. Familiarity with standard measuring devices and inspection equipment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the business. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail with a methodical approach to work. Ability to challenge constructively and motivate others to improve the quality of their work. Interested? As the new Quality Technician you will be working Monday to Friday, Days Based with a starting basic salary of 28,000 - 32,000 per year.
