Your future role within QRT:

Production-Oriented Role : You will be working within a trading desk, meaning your contributions will have a direct and immediate impact on the desk’s success. Your role will be integral to our production processes, ensuring the efficient operation and enhancement of our trading systems.

Key Team Member : As a crucial member of the Quant Dev team, you will collaborate closely with Quant Researchers and Quant Traders, focusing on optimizing and refining our production workflows.

Comprehensive Involvement : Your role will encompass various aspects of algorithmic trading, including the development and maintenance of an ultra-low-latency trading engine (measured in nanoseconds), a research platform handling terabytes of data daily, and an analytics infrastructure leveraging massive cloud computing resources.

Technical Challenges : You will have the opportunity to address and solve complex technical challenges that are vital to the success of our trading desk’s production processes.

Your present skill set:

Modern C++ Proficiency : Demonstrated excellent knowledge and experience in using modern C++ for production-level applications.

Deep Technical Understanding : A strong grasp of the underlying mechanisms behind abstractions, including CPU, memory, OS, and network operations, which is crucial for optimizing production systems.

Full Ownership : The ability and willingness to take full ownership of projects, guiding them from initial concepts through to fully implemented production solutions.

Dynamic Communication : Effective communication skills suitable for a fast-paced, dynamic production environment.

Python Skills : Highly desirable proficiency in Python for scripting and automation within production processes.

Relevant Experience : A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a quantitative trading environment, with a focus on production system development and maintenance, is desirable.
