Quantity Surveyor focuses on maintain comprehensive commercial project files prior to and throughout the project.

What the role involves

  • Maintain comprehensive commercial project files prior to and throughout the project.
  • Managing and submit change orders promptly as project scope evolves.
  • Preparing and submit monthly valuations, following up to ensure timely certification and payment.
  • Monitor project financial status continuously.
  • Identify risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Preparing and submit Early Warning Notices.

Skills and requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ commercial experience in construction settings, ideally within electrical projects.
  • Strong commercial awareness with a proven track record in cost control, valuations, and change management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

  • Work closely with Contract Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to client specifications.
