Civils Quantity Surveyor
to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of impactful projects, including Sub Stations, Utilities, Residential, and Commercial developments. Key Responsibilities: Cost Management:
Prepare, monitor, and manage budgets for civil engineering projects, ensuring financial efficiency and accuracy. Valuations and Payments:
Conduct valuations, process payments, and manage financial documentation to ensure timely and accurate payments to contractors and suppliers. Contract Administration:
Oversee contract management, including reviewing contract terms, managing variations, and resolving disputes. Cost Reporting:
Prepare detailed cost reports and forecasts, providing regular updates to project managers and stakeholders. Procurement:
Manage the procurement of materials and services, ensuring value for money and compliance with project requirements. Risk Management:
Identify, analyse, and manage potential risks to minimise financial exposure on projects. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Relevant qualifications and certifications in Quantity Surveying. Proven experience in a similar role within the civil engineering sector. Strong understanding of contract law, construction processes, and financial management. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
