AA Euro Group are looking to speak with Senior Quantity Surveyors with prior experience working on rail/infrastructure packages. Our client is looking for someone coming from a Civil/Rail background with 8+ years' experience (Ideally with a Main Contractor). It is a full time permanent position, based in Birmingham.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to a Project Manager or Commercial Manager for relevant commercial aspects of a section of a project. In depth knowledge and experience of contractual, commercial, insurance and legal processes. Effective client relationship management to encourage smooth commercial progression of the contract(s). Demonstrates and maintains a high level of commercial and technical knowledge and works closely with the delivery team to develop techniques and solutions to meet business and customer needs. Prepare subcontract invitations to tender and evaluate tender returns and make recommendations to appoint and place subcontracts accurately and on time.
Experience:
BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or experience equivalent. 8+ years' experience. Main contractor experience. Ideally from a civils/infrastructure background.
