About the Role
Based at Head Office in Birmingham with site visits as appropriate. Carry out Quantity Surveyor duties on fit-out and refurbishment schemes for key clients in the Office, Education, Commercial, Hospitality & Leisure sectors.
You will join a close-knit team of dedicated professionals, working together to deliver projects on time and within budget, reporting to the Commercial Director of the division.
QS Role includes:
Control of cost and value
Subcontractor procurement, payment, and management
Valuations
Variations and Final Account
Monthly management reporting
Protection of the company's commercial interests
Working closely with the project team to enable project delivery/success
What you Need to Succeed
Educated to a Degree level in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management
Experience in working on high-value CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects
Office fit-out, build, or refurbishment experience
Strong negotiating skills and ability to work as part of an ambitious and successful team
