This freelance Quantity Surveyor role offers the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively on a major civil engineering project in Brackley. Location:

Brackley, UK Key Responsibilities: Prepare tender pricing, risk assessments, and participate in contract drafting and negotiations. Manage cost and value reconciliations, bottom-up and end-life cost reporting, and cash flow. Build strong relationships with clients and internal/external colleagues. Oversee contract administration, data reporting, and record keeping. Manage subcontractor accounts and payments, resolve disputes, and contribute to project performance discussions with commercial insights. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified in Quantity Surveying or a similar degree. Experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. Working knowledge of NEC contracts (options A, B, and C). Experience with self-delivery works and civil contractor environments. Strong understanding of cost and time management principles. Enthusiastic and clear communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. They have a proven track record of delivering major infrastructure projects across Europe. The current project involves constructing an 80km section of a high-speed railway line, including viaducts, tunnels, road diversions, and overbridges.
