Full Time - 40 hours - Monday to Friday Creating and maintaining great places to live and work delivered by excellent people who care… Purpose of Role We’re recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support our military framework agreement across the South East. Job Description The Quantity Surveyor would be responsible for managing the delivery and governance of commercial services on a multi-site contract. They will regularly price work on commercial refurbishments ensuring target costs are met, reviewing contractual agreements with our subcontractors, handling commercial management issues, and engaging with the end client directly. This role requires a diligent and professional approach and will be both client and subcontractor facing. The successful candidate will have experience managing commercial refurbishment projects. Low value, high volume projects will range up to £150k, all commercially focused: HV/LV replacement, Insulation, Ventilation, Heating systems, Roofing, Brick Repairs/Rebuild, Fireproofing, Drainage etc. Responsibilities Assisting with subcontract management Assisting with client account management Assisting with the completion of monthly cost report in line with the Commercial/Accounts calendar Preparing subcontract documentation and procure subcontract packages Assessment of and processing of subcontractor payments and liabilities Representing the business in client and supply chain meetings Essential Qualifications/Skills Proven commercial experience Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar Understanding of NEC, JCT D&B contracts Ability to engage with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and third parties Advanced user of MS Office, particularly in Excel/Projects UK Driver’s License (no more than 6 points) In return for your hard work we offer additional training and development, 26 days holiday (+ bank holidays), generous pension contribution, life assurance and much more.
