We are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing and dynamic construction and scaffolding company based in Kent, who are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

About Our Client: Our client is a reputable company specialising in delivering high-quality construction and scaffolding projects. Your Role: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be instrumental in managing the financial aspects of both building and scaffolding projects. From preparing cost estimates to finalizing project figures, your expertise will ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. You'll collaborate closely with directors, contract managers, and other key professionals, overseeing project budgets, cost forecasting, contract negotiations, and much more.

Key Responsibilities: Manage and take commercial responsibility for projects ranging from £50k to £3.5 million. Prepare accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities to ensure financial success. Monitor, track, and forecast project budgets to maintain profitability. Provide strategic advice on procurement, risk management, and cost-saving solutions. Produce cash flow forecasts and detailed financial reports to keep stakeholders informed. Lead negotiations for final account agreements and contracts. Ensure compliance with NEC and JCT contracts.

The Ideal Candidate: The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues, and confidence in managing multiple tasks are essential for this role.

Key Skills & Experience: CSCS Card (Essential). Strong experience in cost management, estimating, and project financials. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry software such as Bluebeam, Adobe, ASite, Aconnex, etc. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. A team player who thrives in a busy, dynamic environment.
