Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor with experience in premium industrial builds? We are seeking a Freelance/Contract QS to join a regional main contractor with a proven track record of delivering high-quality industrial developments on time and to budget.

About the Role: You will be part of a project team delivering a large industrial unit build, which includes: Internal works External services Landscaping and external car park The project duration is approximately 45-52 weeks, and the role will require expertise in cost control, procurement, and project coordination to maintain the company's high standards of quality and efficiency.

With over 2 million square feet of warehousing developed across Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire, Northants, and Bedfordshire, the company is a trusted name in design, build, and project management.

Specialising in: Design & Build: Delivering value in design, specification, and programme delivery. Cost Control & Value Engineering: Ensuring projects are completed to budget while maintaining quality. Turnkey Contracts: Managing projects from planning to handover.

Key Skills & Responsibilities: Lead cost control and procurement for the project. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants. Ensure compliance with contractual and institutional standards. Provide accurate cost forecasting and reporting. Manage value engineering initiatives to optimise project budgets.
