We are working with a Specialist SME Civil Engineering Contractor who is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team.
Responsibilities: Analysis of contracts (NEC, JCT, FIDIC) to identify Risk and Opportunity. Support the business in contractual and commercial matters to ensure that all projects attain their full commercial potential. Commercial responsibility for the day-to-day performance and governance of key and high-profile projects and clients within the business. Maximise monthly valuations and variation valuations, ensuring timely submission and managing assessment and approval processes. Writing reports and presenting to the Senior Management Team. Management and mentorship of 2 Surveyors. Involvement with the tender team. Commercial Management of projects and packages up to 5 million.
