Job Overview We are looking for a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of civil engineering projects from initial cost estimates through to final costs. The Quantity Surveyor will ensure that each project stays within budget while maintaining financial efficiency throughout its duration. Key Responsibilities Create detailed cost estimates and project budgets, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness. Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate project viability and offer recommendations based on your analysis. Track project spending and implement cost control strategies to maintain financial efficiency. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure clear communication regarding project details and financials. Prepare tender documents, contracts, and agreements, ensuring full compliance with legal standards. Oversee post-contract management of contractor accounts to maximize value for the client. Maintain precise records of all financial transactions related to projects. Provide regular updates on project progress, budget status, and future cost forecasts to stakeholders. Skills & Qualifications Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools for estimating and managing costs. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders. Exceptional organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations related to building projects is a plus.
