Are you a Quantity Surveyor seeking a role with an established, sought-after developer?

Due to a strong pipeline of future developments and a desire to continue producing some of the most luxurious homes in the country, this business is looking to add value to its commercial department with the addition of a Quantity Surveyor.

Working closely with the Commercial Manager, duties of the role include:

Process and produce transparent weekly and monthly cost value reconciliation processes to ensure accurate and timely information. Maintain long-term relationships with internal and external teams for the transfer of information within parameters to ensure that relationships are maintained to meet the needs of the business. Assist in managing opportunities and risks to the business ensuring deviations from working practice are identified and highlighted. Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in the development of commercial tenders, offers, and contracts, and formal engagement with other companies. Ensure contract data and records are appropriately maintained and kept up to date. Capture and report labour payments; assist in drafting and awarding sub-contracts and assessing tenders. Sub-contractor procurement, payments and reconciliation, plus issuing the relevant notifications/payless notices. Share learning and commercial best practices to encourage continuous improvement.

We are looking for those with the following:

BSc Quantity Surveying, or equivalent. Complimentary relevant industry work experience. Good analytical & problem-solving skills. Ability to work on own initiative. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in relevant computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel etc.)
