Job Title: Permanent Quantity Surveyor Location: Bournemouth Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established construction company with a strong track record of delivering successful projects across multiple sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to play a key role in managing and overseeing the financial aspects of projects from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of cost planning, cost reporting, and financial management for projects. Prepare and submit detailed tender documents, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and the project remains within budget. Prepare cost estimates and provide advice on cost-effective solutions throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and provide on-site cost advice. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery. Negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements. Review and manage contract variations and provide timely updates to project teams. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and health and safety requirements. Support senior management in strategic decision-making and provide accurate reports on project status. Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project management processes. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders. A strong understanding of cost management and financial controls in construction projects. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently. Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field (or equivalent experience). RICS membership (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.
