Quantity Surveyor (Didcot, Oxfordshire)
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 + Package

We are working with a leading utilities contractor in search of a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team based in Didcot, Oxfordshire. Key Responsibilities:
- Pricing of Change Orders: Accurately assess and manage costs for project changes.
- Measurement and Analysis: Conduct detailed measurements of client design drawings, focusing on earthworks, underground services, reinforced concrete, and formwork.
- Subcontractor Management: Handle orders and manage paperwork for subcontractors.
- Cost Ledger Management: Oversee the cost ledger in a Joint Venture arrangement, ensuring cost accuracy and budget alignment.
- Material Procurement: Source essential materials, including pipework, chambers, pumps, and other utility components.
- Client Billing and Budgeting: Prepare monthly applications for clients and manage project budgets effectively.
- Client Engagement: Address client queries regarding the scope of work with a strong understanding of Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and Scope of Work (SoW).
- Relationship Building: Develop and nurture long-term, beneficial relationships with clients, fostering a high standard of client satisfaction and increasing repeat business potential.
- Additional Tasks: Assist with other requests from management as necessary to support business objectives.
