Kenton Black are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor. Based in the Dundee area, the client is an established building contractor managing the construction of new build/refurbishment projects, up to £2m.
In your new role, as a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the daily commercial function of commercial construction projects across Angus, Dundee, Perth & Fife. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing tender documentation Analysing budgets Procuring sub-contractors Monitoring project finances, costs, and timelines Providing insight into cost-effective strategies Preparing progress reports and contributing to progress meetings Dealing with weekly/monthly payments Closing final accounts
As a minimum, you must have a Degree in Quantity Surveying or be qualified by experience, as well as previous experience surveying commercial construction projects. Your working history must be backed by positive employer feedback.
