Company & Project:
A profitable and privately owned chartered surveying practice operating across the Commercial sector is currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their established team. The successful business is seeking to recruit an ambitious Quantity Surveyor looking to work on a long-term project for a prestigious client. Our client has an exciting project list secured for the next 18 months+ and they are looking for a Surveyor to work on this major project for their prestigious and repeat clients. There is a clear pathway for promotion and development to a leadership role within the business, with no ceiling for growth in this established company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading projects c£20m. You will be responsible for concept to completion cost management, including but not limited to cost planning, variations, tender analysis, contract administration, cost reporting, change management, employers agent, and final accounts.
Desirable Experience: 5 years+ post-grad experience working as a Quantity Surveyor with a chartered surveying practice or consultancy. Excellent client-facing skills and experience working in both pre and post contract surveying. Previous Roles: Quantity Surveyor OR Cost Manager OR Intermediate QS OR QS OR MRICS Surveyor OR Senior Quantity Surveyor.
Qualifications & Skills:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or comparable qualification.
