About the role Well established residential developer is currently looking for an ambitious, self-motivated Quantity Surveyor who is able to work under their own initiative to meet deadlines to achieve results. The role will involve ensuring timely & accurate cost management and dealing with contractual issues & procurement & payment of sub-contractors for new build development projects from pre-operational stage through to final account settlement.

Skills & Experience Strong experience within a Surveying role, through a main contractor or housebuilder. Knowledge of the Residential Development market. Commercially aware with analytical & proactive approach towards problem solving. Strong attention to detail and produces accurate work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The negotiation & letting of subcontracts within required timescales. Reviewing and forecasting the latest cost estimates and reporting. The identification & procurement of suitable sub-contractors.
