Exciting role on offer for a Quantity Surveyor looking to join an expanding business, working on exciting multi million pound projects where you will be fully supported to become Chartered and progress your career.
Do you have a Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar such as Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering? Do you have some industry experience working as a QS? Are you looking to join a growing business where you will have an exciting future where you can progress whilst working on exciting projects?
This dynamic, forward-thinking consultancy provides cost management and Architectural services to a range of clients within the Food, healthcare, and industrial sectors. They work for a number of blue-chip clients overseeing works including new build, refurbishment, and extension. They have seen massive growth over the past 3 years and work with a number of growing sectors within the commercial construction sector. They are looking to invest in the future of the business and are therefore looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor with consultancy experience that can progress within the business.
In this role, you will report directly to the Commercial Manager where you will play an integral part of their client-facing team, ensuring client projects are effectively planned and delivered on time and to budget. You will prepare capital cost estimates, prepare pricing documents, conduct commercial evaluations, and negotiate with tenderers. While working on a number of complex projects, you will be given support to become a Chartered QS.
This exciting opportunity would ideally suit a dynamic Quantity Surveyor who enjoys being client-side and dealing directly with clients. You will have experience working on commercial projects and understand the full project lifecycle. This opportunity would suit someone looking to join a growing company that looks after their staff and provides variety and exposure to really exciting projects.
