Competitive, depending on experience About the Role We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the housebuilding sector. You will play a vital role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of residential construction projects, ensuring value for money while maintaining the highest standards of quality. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with a proven track record in residential construction and housing developments. Key Responsibilities Cost Management:

Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans throughout the lifecycle of residential developments. Procurement:

Oversee the procurement process, including tendering, supplier selection, and contract negotiations. Contract Administration:

Ensure compliance with JCT and other relevant contracts, managing variations and dispute resolution as required. Valuations and Payments:

Prepare valuations, monitor cash flow, and manage payment processes to subcontractors and suppliers. Value Engineering:

Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Reporting:

Produce regular financial reports for stakeholders, including cost analysis and progress updates. Collaboration:

Work closely with project managers, site teams, and design professionals to ensure smooth delivery of projects. Skills and Qualifications Experience:

3+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the housebuilding or residential construction sector. Education:

Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. RICS accreditation is preferred. Knowledge:

Familiarity with JCT contracts and residential construction methodologies. Technical Skills:

Proficiency in cost management tools such as COINS, Causeway, or Microsoft Excel. Communication:

Strong negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills. Attention to Detail:

Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Teamwork:
