Client valuations including thorough measurement as work progresses, through to final account. Cash flow forecasts and monitoring against programme. Accurate valuation, forecasting and monitoring of site Preliminaries. Ensure full recovery and valuation of variations/instructions. Provision of timely and accurate documentation, warranties and the like, both internally and externally. Ensuring that the procurement of subcontractors is undertaken in a timely and cost effective manner. Administration of subcontractor contracts and accounts. Ensuring that payments/notices are issued in accordance with the Subcontract and Construction Act. Timely production of subcontract final accounts, including re-measurement and valuation of all variations as necessary to facilitate the optimum result. Keep the Managing Surveyor informed of the progress of both client and subcontractor accounts through to their finalisation, including the release of retentions. Compile monthly Cost/Value reconciliations and forecasts, including future risks and opportunities, and present to the senior management team. Ensure any commercial threats to projects are identified swiftly and communicated to the Managing Surveyor and all contractual notices are issued correctly and on time. Attend meetings and ensure that surveying information and cost advice is provided in an accurate, timely and proficient manner. Requirements
Surveying Degree or equivalent qualification/experience. Experience of working for a Main Contractor. Design and build experience. Excellent communication skills. Experienced in commercially managing large scale projects. Benefits
