Quantity Surveyor
Harrogate, £up to £60k DOE, car allowance
Excellent opportunity for a QS or Estimator looking for their next role to work on high-end projects. Undertaking predominantly strip out, refurbishment, and fit-out projects for commercial and residential clients with project values ranging from £100k to £1.5m.
The successful candidate would be responsible for: Managing day-to-day commercial and contractual activities. Reviewing all project documentation to ensure feasibility and profitability. Negotiating challenges and variations. Supporting the preparation of interim and final accounts. Producing CRVs. Setting and managing the schedule of work. Pricing jobs, calculating timescales, and feasibility to ensure profit margin. Managing risk and implementing controls. Creating packages of work for subcontractors.
As the Quantity Surveyor you will: Have proven experience within the construction industry. Possess a good broad knowledge of construction. Have the ability to work clearly and accurately under pressure. Demonstrate strong knowledge of cost control methodologies and practices within the construction industry. Exhibit excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Demonstrate excellent communication and organisation skills. Possess confident IT skills. Hold a full UK Driving license.
