About: My client is a leading construction company specialising in high-end residential refurbishment, new build projects, and luxury hotel refurbishment. Their projects are design-and-build, with a strong focus on quality and detail. We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join the team and contribute to a prestigious hotel refurbishment project within a listed building in Central London.

The Role: This is a hybrid office-to-site-based role, requiring flexibility to work between the Brentwood office and project sites across Central and surrounding London areas. The successful candidate will initially be involved in the delivery of a significant hotel refurbishment project, with scope for involvement in future high-profile residential and hospitality projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Preparing cost estimates and budgets for refurbishment and new build projects.

* Managing procurement and tender processes.

* Liaising with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure projects meet financial and quality benchmarks.

* Monitoring costs, variations, and contractual agreements to maintain profitability.

* Reporting on project progress, risks, and financials to senior management.

* Collaborating with the project team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

What We're Looking For:

* Minimum 5+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally in high-end residential or hotel refurbishment projects.

* Experience working on design-and-build contracts.

* Strong knowledge of refurbishment projects.

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

* Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred but not essential).

* Full UK driving license.

What We Offer:

* Competitive salary: £50,000 - £65,000 (dependent on experience).

* Car allowance.

* Additional benefits negotiable at interview.

* Opportunity to work on prestigious projects with a supportive and experienced team.

* Career progression in a growing company committed to excellence
