As a company, they are well-established in a range of contracting areas, including demolition and remediation, earthworks, concrete, and aggregates. They are looking to grow the contracting side of the business through several major project partners with a strong group of office and site-based staff. The project will be overseen by the Commercial Manager, so we are looking for an intermediate Quantity Surveyor with experience in contract management and negotiation, and an openness to professional development. This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor who is looking for career growth with a well-respected contractor and an opportunity to get hands-on exposure to a range of projects with ample training and development opportunities, including both internal training and tertiary sponsorship. This role will be foundational for building a larger team, so is a great opportunity to situate yourself for future advancement. Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, particularly within
Demolition
projects. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent contract negotiation and communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Relevant qualifications and membership with professional bodies (e.g., RICS) would be an advantage.
