However, they rely on their open approach for the team to spot these mistakes and work on solutions together.
They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor as they have two new projects starting in April and need to bolster their commercial team due to a busy order book for the next 18 months.
Our client is seeking a Quantity Surveyor who has sound knowledge of JCT Design and Build Contracts, as the vast majority of work they do is JCT D&B. They are not contractually aggressive or especially litigious; however, due to the demands on cladding projects, especially with design, it is vitally important that you can follow this contract with the correct notices, ensuring contractual compliance. This is crucial so that if the need arises for an Extension of Time, you have covered the risk.
Our client is ideally looking for a Quantity Surveyor who has a mixture of Main and Subcontracting experience and is happy to consider alternative trades, especially if you have good knowledge of JCT Design and Build. Cladding or facades experience is advantageous but certainly not a prerequisite.
