ReCon Advisory Partners are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a well-established civil engineering contractor based in the West Yorkshire area. The business is looking for an individual who can play a vital role within their business, having many responsibilities to ensure the business becomes even more successful.
The client is looking for an individual who has had a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor and is looking for someone to grow with the business.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive commercial support including Measurement, Estimating, Contract Review/Administration & Procurement. Engage in project management activities to ensure successful project delivery. Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and specialist contractors. Prepare tender documentation, analyze tenders, and make tender recommendations.
Requirements
Preferred degree in quantity surveying or an associated construction field. Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PDF, and other Microsoft programs. Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team to deliver high-quality standards for every client. Experience within civil engineering projects is essential, for example, earthworks, groundworks, and infrastructure work.
Package
Up to £55,000 23 days paid holiday per holiday year plus public holidays. Car allowance is also negotiable depending on circumstances and requirements of the role.
