Quantity Surveyor

to join their commercial team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the financial efficiency and cost-effectiveness of residential development projects, from inception to completion. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional looking to develop their career within a dynamic and growing organisation. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for residential construction projects. Manage and oversee procurement, tendering, and contract administration processes. Conduct site visits, valuations, and cost assessments to ensure financial control. Negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements. Monitor project expenditure, variations, and cash flow to maintain budgetary control. Prepare and submit interim and final accounts, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements. Identify and mitigate financial risks and implement cost-saving strategies. Work collaboratively with project managers, site teams, and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for financial claims and audits. Requirements: A degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Proven experience in a similar role within the construction or residential development sector. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and industry-specific software. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
