TS Recruitment are currently looking to source an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work with a regional construction contractor based in Lincoln.
Due to continued growth and success, this construction contractor is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the experienced and successful commercial team, operating from the Lincoln regional office. Projects range from £3m up to £20m and will include sectors such as Education, Healthcare, Multi Room, Care home and residential schemes.
The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in the Commercial team, working closely with the delivery teams on projects, contributing to the successful delivery of projects. Area of operation will include Sheffield, Leeds and Lincoln, working from the office or site. Managing the subcontractor payments. Understand Bills of Quantities and drawings. Manage subcontract tenders.
The Person
A proactive approach. Strong communication and negotiation skills. A team-oriented mindset. The ability to balance technical expertise with a practical understanding of site delivery. Design and build experience with both JCT and NEC (NEC not essential). Experience running own projects. Preferred project value of projects £3-£10 million.
