Within our Social Housing Planned refurbishment works programs, you will work both from home/office and on site, collaborating with your team in an environment that is inclusive and fair for everyone. The role is to obtain and evaluate information to ensure a realistic cost for the supply of works, goods, materials, and services for designated Refurbishment/Projects. You will liaise with Contractors, Suppliers, and Clients to ensure information, costs, profitability, and value meet the requirements of designated project/contracts. Working with long-term existing contracts, you will play a key part in shaping the commercials and have autonomy in the role. Workstreams are Social Housing Planned works within tenanted properties working on decarbonisation works both internals and externals. Assist in the development of the procurement programme. Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts for designated projects. Prepare and submit monthly applications for payment to the Client/Clients representative. Prepare monthly valuation reports. Submit invoices for certified value and ensure payments are received on time. Value and authorise payments to sub-contractors. Liaise with Contract Managers to establish the project specification and requirements. Attend and contribute to meetings with work colleagues and Clients/Customers when necessary, building relationships and demonstrating excellent communication skills. Monitor the contract progress, assess, and report any changes that may affect project costs and/or time scale. Assist in the control of contract budgets. About You: You will have experience of working as a

Quantity Surveyor

within the Social Housing sector preferred but not essential; refurbishment experience working on multiple contracts is a must. Your expertise as a Surveyor will give you the knowledge to hit the ground running and contribute effectively to the team. Knowledge of JCT and Measure Term Contracts is vital to the role. Attention to detail and great written and verbal communication skills will be essential to your success. You must also be proficient with IT and have excellent MS Office skills. A Full UK Driving Licence is required as travel is a must with this role. A DBS check will also be required. A little bit about us: Novus Property Solutions
