Job description We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our client in construction. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. This position requires an individual who is adept at cost control and has a strong understanding of the construction industry. The Quantity Surveyor will ensure that projects are completed within budget while maintaining high standards of quality. Duties

Prepare detailed cost estimates for various construction projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of projects from a financial perspective. Monitor project progress and costs, implementing effective cost control measures as necessary. Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, and bills of quantities. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication regarding project specifications and costs. Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and compliance with contracts. Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes as they arise during the project lifecycle. Maintain comprehensive records of all financial transactions related to the project. Requirements

A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is essential. Proven experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry is highly desirable. A minimum of 2 years. Strong understanding of cost control principles and practices. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Proficient in using quantity surveying software. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
